Michael & Christy at Heartland, the Village Blacksmith:
"The sweaty lads in Plaid" put on a real show with their production-style blacksmithing at fairs and festivals throughout the West. Michel Olson’s interest in the ancient craft began when, as a woodworker, he couldn’t find a certain type of hardware. So, he decided to forge his own. He and wife, Christy, ran the blacksmith shop at Columbia State Historic Park before taking their show on the road. Ultimately they would like to start a working blacksmith museum in Angels Camp."
